How a Canadian booking lands abroad

CanadaLimousine.ca runs its own cars in eighteen Canadian cities and reaches the rest of the world through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network - a membership of licensed chauffeur operators in the countries below, each vetted to the standard this site holds at home: fixed fare quoted before you book, a chauffeur who meets you at the door rather than a lot, the flight tracked and the waiting time built in, and one confirmation for the whole trip. A client who books the Pearson pickup on Monday and needs a car at Heathrow on Tuesday makes one reservation; the desk places the far end with the member operator in London, and the invoice shows both legs.

The countries are grouped by region below, each with its gateway airport - the one most transfers from Canada arrive at - and a short note on what the network does there. The travel desk books the flights and the hotels around the cars through BookingWorldwide.net, and the corporate account carries the whole itinerary on one monthly invoice.

What the standard means at the far end

The operator is licensed and insured for commercial passenger work in its own jurisdiction and the desk has seen the documents; the vehicle is the class booked - a sedan is a sedan, an SUV an SUV, a van a van - and a stretch limousine is confirmed only where the operator runs one; the chauffeur meets the client in the arrivals hall with a name board, or at the hotel door, and the waiting time on a flight is the same sixty minutes international and thirty domestic as in Canada; the fare is quoted in advance in Canadian dollars or the local currency and no meter runs; and a complaint is handled by the Canadian desk, not passed to the operator to answer. An operator that fails a client is removed from the network.

What the network does not do

It does not pretend to be everywhere. A country not on this page is quoted only where the directory has a member operator, and the desk says no when it does not; a stretch limousine in a city that has none is not promised; a fare in a market where the operator cannot fix one - a few cities with metered-only licensing - is quoted as an estimate and said to be one.
