The airport's own city

Toronto Pearson is inside Mississauga's city limits, which makes this the one city in Canada where the airport transfer is fifteen minutes and the reason to book it is not the drive but the arrival: the pre-arranged curb, the flight tracking, the warm car and the fixed fare on the night when the taxi rank is a queue and the app is on surge. Beyond the airport, Mississauga is the country's largest suburban economy - the head offices along the 401, the 403 and the 410, the Airport Corporate Centre, Square One's towers - and the country's largest banquet-hall wedding market outside its neighbour Brampton. We run the full service across the city and Peel: the Pearson transfers, the corporate accounts, the weddings, the proms, and the hourly chauffeur for the day across the 905.

The Absolute towers on Mississauga's skyline
The Absolute towers on Mississauga's skyline

Pearson from inside the city

From Square One the airport is twelve kilometres and fifteen minutes up Hurontario and the 401; from Port Credit twenty minutes up the QEW and the 427; from Meadowvale and Streetsville fifteen minutes down the 401; from the Airport Corporate Centre five. The Pearson page covers the two terminals and the pre-arranged curbs; the Mississauga point is that a chauffeur based in the city is at the curb within minutes of a diversion or an early landing, and that a 5 am departure from any Mississauga address is a short, certain drive. Sixty minutes of waiting are included on an international arrival, thirty on domestic, and the fare from a Mississauga address is among the lowest airport fares on this site.

The head-office corridor

The 401 through Mississauga carries more head offices than any stretch of road in Canada - the pharmaceutical companies in Meadowvale, the technology companies along the 403, the banks' operations centres, the logistics firms by the airport - and the corporate account is the product they book: the Pearson transfer for the visiting executive with the office as the default drop-off, the hourly chauffeur for the day between the Mississauga office, the Toronto client and the airport, the Sprinter for the team offsite. The Airport Corporate Centre and the hotels along Dixon Road are five minutes from the terminals; a meeting there and a flight after is one short booking.

Square One, Port Credit and the neighbourhoods

The City Centre around Square One - the towers, the Living Arts Centre, the Celebration Square that hosts the summer festivals - is the downtown; Port Credit on the lake is the village, the marina and the restaurants; Streetsville the old main street; Clarkson and Lorne Park the lakeshore's executives' homes; Erin Mills and Meadowvale the west; Malton by the airport the oldest neighbourhood. Brampton to the north, Oakville to the west and Etobicoke to the east price on the same engine, and the Toronto page covers the 416.

Banquet halls, weddings and the South Asian calendar

Mississauga and Brampton between them host more banquet-hall weddings than anywhere in the country, and the multi-day South Asian wedding - the mehndi on Thursday, the sangeet on Friday, the ceremony on Saturday, the reception on Sunday, across two or three halls - is a plan the desk builds every weekend from May to October: the stretch for the baraat's arrival, the Sprinters between the halls for the guests, the SUVs for the elders, the same chauffeurs across the weekend. The Chinese and the Italian weddings in the same halls follow their own calendars. The wedding page covers the plans; the halls' loading rules are on file.

Proms, convocations and the schools

The Peel boards' prom season is the last three Saturdays of June and the stretch limousines are booked by April; the University of Toronto Mississauga's convocations and Sheridan's are the spring's. The prom page sets out the rules parents book us for.

The International Centre, the Congress Centre and the shows

The International Centre on Airport Road and the Toronto Congress Centre on Dixon are five minutes from the terminals and host the trade shows that do not need downtown - the boat show, the home shows, the industrial exhibitions - and the trade shows page covers the delegate programme from the airport to the hotel strip to the hall. The Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Erin Mills for the Raptors 905 and the concerts; the Living Arts Centre for the symphony and the touring shows; Celebration Square for Canada Day and the summer festivals.

Traffic, weather and the honest drive times

The 401, the 403, the 410, the 427 and the QEW all cross the city and all are slow at both rush hours; the 407 across the north is the escape and its toll is shown at booking; Hurontario's light rail construction has narrowed the spine for years. Winter is Toronto's: the first snowfall's chaos in late November, the ice storms of February. Ontario 511 is what dispatch reads. The honest figures: Square One to Pearson in fifteen minutes at any hour that is not 5 pm, when it is thirty; Port Credit to downtown Toronto in thirty minutes at 6 am and sixty at 8.

Hotels and the drop-off

The airport strip - the Sheraton Gateway inside Terminal 3, the Marriott, the Hilton, the Delta and the Westin along Dixon Road and Airport Road - is the country's largest airport-hotel cluster and the drop-off for most of the city's corporate transfers; the Hilton Garden Inn and the Novotel at Square One; the Waterside Inn in Port Credit for the wedding weekend. The travel desk books the room.

What a limo costs in Mississauga

Fixed by the addresses and the vehicle class, shown before you book. A Mississauga address to Pearson in an Executive Sedan is among the lowest airport fares on this site; downtown Toronto prices by distance; the wedding weekend and the prom are priced by the hour with a minimum. The 407 toll is added where the route uses it. No surge on the night of a diverted flight, no meter, no gratuity added. The fleet page has the capacities.

Day trips and the corridor

Niagara Falls in seventy-five minutes down the QEW, closer than from Toronto; Toronto's downtown in thirty; Kitchener-Waterloo in fifty on the 401; Muskoka in two hours on the 400; Buffalo's airport in ninety minutes on the cross-border service. All on the city-to-city service at a fixed fare with the return built in.

A diverted flight, worked through

A Friday 9 pm arrival at Terminal 3 from Vancouver, a couple with two cases, bound for a Port Credit address. The Executive Sedan was booked with the flight number; at 7 pm the aircraft is diverted to Hamilton for weather and dispatch calls the passengers before the airline's announcement finishes. The chauffeur, based in Mississauga, is at Hamilton airport's arrivals doors forty-five minutes later; the passengers land at 9:40, the bag takes twenty minutes, and they are home in Port Credit by 11 - at the fare on the confirmation, because a diversion within the region is our problem, not theirs. On a normal Friday the same booking is a fifteen-minute drive from Terminal 3's pre-arranged curb down the 427 and the QEW. Toronto Pearson's diversion policy sends aircraft to Hamilton more often than passengers expect.

The airport hotels and the early flight

The Dixon Road strip is where a 6 am departure sleeps: the Sheraton Gateway connected to Terminal 3 by a bridge, the Marriott, the Hilton, the Delta, the Westin, the Holiday Inn and a dozen more within five minutes of the terminals. A chauffeur from a Mississauga or Toronto address to an airport hotel at 10 pm and a five-minute transfer to the terminal at 4:30 am is the two-booking pattern for the family that will not risk the 401 at dawn; the travel desk books the room and the airport transfers page explains the departure timing.

Square One, the festivals and the summer

Celebration Square at Square One hosts the summer's festivals - Canada Day, the Carassauga cultural festival in May, the MuslimFest, the Italian and Portuguese festivals, the Christmas market - and the Living Arts Centre beside it the concerts; Port Credit's Waterfront Festival in June and the Southside Shuffle blues festival in September close the village's Lakeshore Road. An hourly chauffeur is the way to do a festival evening; the City of Mississauga's calendar has the dates.

Sheridan, UTM and the schools

The University of Toronto Mississauga's campus in Erin Mills and Sheridan College's at Square One book the September move-in and the convocations; the Peel boards' June proms fill the stretch limousines and the Sprinters by April; the private schools along Mississauga Road book the graduation-day family cars. The prom and graduation page sets out the rules parents book us for, and the Ontario page covers the province beyond Peel.

Two questions people in Mississauga ask the desk

Do we really need a chauffeur for a fifteen-minute airport run? For the 5 am departure, yes: the car is at the door at the minute, the fare is small, and nobody is waking a neighbour. For the arrival after a delayed international flight, yes again: the chauffeur is at the curb when the aircraft lands, whenever that is. Can the Sprinter do all four days of the wedding? Yes, as one plan with the same chauffeurs, and the halls' loading rules are already on file. A third, asked every May: Carassauga's pavilions across the city are an hourly chauffeur's weekend, and the Square One drop is the Living Arts Centre's forecourt.

The 905 wedding calendar

From the May long weekend to Thanksgiving every banquet hall in Mississauga and Brampton is booked every Saturday and most Sundays, and the stretch limousines and the Sprinters go with them; a June or September date should have its transport reserved by February. The wedding page covers the multi-day plan, and the holiday parties page the December shape of the same halls. A hall's own loading rule - which door, which hour, whether a stretch may wait on the forecourt - is on the desk's file for every hall in Peel, and it is the detail that keeps a Saturday running.

FAQ

Mississauga: questions answered

How much does a limo cost in Mississauga?

It depends on the addresses and the vehicle class; the engine shows the exact fixed fare in seconds. A Mississauga address to Pearson in an Executive Sedan is among the lowest airport fares on this site because the airport is inside the city. No surge, no meter, no gratuity added.

How long is Square One to Pearson?

About fifteen minutes up Hurontario and the 401 at most hours, thirty at 5 pm. The chauffeur is at the pre-arranged curb before the aircraft lands.

Can you do a multi-day South Asian wedding across two halls?

Yes - the stretch for the baraat, Sprinters between the halls, SUVs for the elders, the same chauffeurs across the weekend, priced as one plan. The desk builds these every weekend from May to October.

Do you serve Brampton and Oakville?

Yes - every address in Peel and Halton prices on the engine at the same standard.

Can you pick up at the International Centre or the Congress Centre?

Yes - both are five minutes from the terminals and the delegate programme from the airport to the hotel strip to the hall is built with the desk.

Is the 407 used?

Only where it saves real time - the Markham, Vaughan and Oakville runs at rush hour - and its toll is shown at booking and added at cost.

How much is a limo per hour in Mississauga?

Hourly rates vary by vehicle class with a minimum of a few hours, shown when you choose the hourly option; waiting and stops are inside the time.

Can I book a limo from Mississauga to Niagara Falls?

Yes - seventy-five minutes down the QEW, as a round trip with the chauffeur waiting or an hourly day with the wineries added.

Can you pick up at the airport hotels on Dixon Road?

Yes - every hotel on the strip has a forecourt the chauffeurs know, and the five-minute transfer to either terminal at 4:30 am is the most-booked early departure in the city.
